Our Story
Smellitzer® was created to bring professional-grade scent atomization technology to businesses and consumers who demand consistency, reliability and performance. The brand is owned and operated by Phoenix Digital Solutions Limited, a UK-registered company with experience in engineering solutions, technical systems and global equipment supply.
Phoenix Digital Solutions Limited has built its reputation on delivering specialist technology solutions across multiple industries. Through our work in precision engineering environments, we recognised the increasing demand for controlled scent diffusion in retail, hospitality and commercial environments.
Traditional air fresheners and heated oil diffusers were inconsistent, inefficient and often left residue. We saw an opportunity to introduce advanced atomization technology — systems capable of converting aroma oils into ultra-fine particles without combustion or dilution.
In 2019, we registered the Smellitzer® trademark (UK00003353395) to establish a protected and recognisable brand for our scent atomization systems. Smellitzer® represents the fusion of engineering precision and sensory science.

That is why Smellitzer® systems use cold-air atomization. Instead of heating fragrance oils (which alters their molecular structure), we use pressurised air atomization to disperse pure aroma oils into micro-particles. This preserves the integrity of the fragrance while ensuring even air distribution.

In addition to scent atomization hardware, Phoenix Digital Solutions Limited supplies aroma-infused inks and coatings designed to integrate scent into printed campaigns. These micro-encapsulated aromas are embedded into the ink layer and release fragrance when the encapsulation is broken through rubbing, folding or scratching.
This technology is ideal for scratch-and-sniff applications, packaging, direct mail and other tactile print where you want the printed surface itself to carry the fragrance experience, complementing Smellitzer® air treatment in the environment.
As a print supply partner, we can provide aroma inks and coatings, encapsulated aromas, digital inkjet and offset print machinery, as well as ongoing print servicing and technical support.
